Willamette
Dental is the trademark for our
family of companies. Willamette Dental Group, P.C., ("WDG") is our
Oregon and Idaho dental professional corporation. Willamette Dental
Insurance, Inc., ("WDI") is our Oregon dental insurance company. Eugene
C. Skourtes, P.S., Inc. doing business as Willamette Dental Group is our
Washington dental professional corporation. Willamette Dental of
Washington, Inc. ("WDWA") is our Washington insurance company.
Willamette Dental of Idaho, Inc., ("WDID") is our Idaho insurance
company. Willamette Dental Management Corporation ("WDMC") provides
management and administrative services to all of the companies and is
headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon. The purpose of these companies is
to pursue the growth and profitability of the Willamette Dental family.

Willamette Dental Group, P.C.
originated as a partnership between Dr.
Eugene Skourtes and Dr. Gerald Cogan. From the beginning, WDG pioneered
managed care programs for dental services. In 1970, the first
capitation dental plan in the Pacific Northwest was established with
United Metal Trades Association. In 1974, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of
Oregon began marketing a capitation dental plan known as Dentacare. WDG
contracted to be the provider for patients with Dentacare in the
Portland Metropolitan area. WDG serves patients of Willamette Dental
Insurance and other insurers in Oregon. WDG has grown from one Portland
office in 1970 to over thirty offices throughout Oregon and Idaho.
Willamette Dental
Group in Washington provides general and
specialized dental services to patients of Willamette Dental of
Washington, Inc. and other insurers in Washington. WDG has developed
over twenty-five offices in Washington since 1994.
Willamette Dental
Management Corporation is an
Oregon corporation formed in 1997 to provide management and
administrative services. The Management Company supports Willamette
Dental through administrative positions at office locations and the
following departments: Appointment Center, Clinical Support, Dental
Laboratory, Facilities and Purchasing, Finance, Government Relations,
Human Resources, Information Systems, Insurance, Legal, Marketing,
Patient Relations, Records, and Scheduling.
Willamette Dental
Insurance, Inc., is an Oregon
corporation licensed by the Oregon Department of Insurance in 1999. Our
previous insurance Company, Willamette Health Services, Inc., was merged
into WDI in 1999 after creating a non-profit charitable foundation
supporting dental education. WDI markets to and administers dental
plans for employers, groups and individuals in the state of Oregon.
Willamette Dental
of Washington, Inc., is a
Washington corporation licensed by the Washington Office of Insurance
Commissioner as a limited health care insurer since 1994. WDWA markets
and administers dental plans to employers and groups in the state of
Washington.
Willamette Dental of Idaho, Inc,
is an Idaho business corporation, which was formed and licensed by the
Idaho Department of Insurance as a limited managed care organization in
1998. WDID markets and administers dental plans to employers, groups
and patients in the state of Idaho.
